An attractive MPV
Not all MPVs are blessed with the stylish looks of the Honda Odyssey, which has a rising shoulder line and a gently sloping roofline that finishes with a smart-looking spoiler. And while the car more than holds its own in the looks department, its practical qualities should not be overlooked. Thanks to a four-door body, getting in and out of the vehicle is never an issue. And because of a one-touch power-operated sliding rear door, access is even more straightforward, even for those travelling in the third row.

All models ride on stylish alloys. For instance, entry-level VTi trims are fitted with lightweight, durable and super-efficient 17-inch wheels as standard. For even greater kerb appeal, you might want to consider upgrading to the VTi-L, which comes with attractive two-tone alloys.

Whatever the weather throws at you, you’ll always be prepared with the Odyssey. The vehicle features LED daytime running lights, which not only look good, they also ensure you’re easily visible to other motorists. Front fog lamps are fitted as standard too, so when the weather’s inclement, you’ll still have the best possible view of the road ahead.

Another great thing about this MPV is its flexibility, which makes it easy to achieve the perfect passenger/cargo balance. With all seats in place, there’s 330 litres of luggage space, while with the third row of seats folded flat to the floor, capacity increases to 1,672 litres. Drop the middle row and cargo volume expands to an impressive 1,867 litres.

The Honda Odyssey comes with ANCAP’s maximum five-star safety rating, which makes it ideal if you’re transporting travellers of all ages. The vehicle is fitted with numerous passive protective features, including multiple airbags and front seatbelt reminders. If you regularly need to ferry the kids about, be sure to upgrade to the VTi-L trim, which comes with ISOFIX child-seat anchorage on second-row seats.
